Abstract
Relative radiative decay rates were measured for -shell vacancies for elements between with a high-resolution Ge(Li) spectrometer. The ratios , , and (Siegbahn notation) were determined, with significantly higher (4-14%) than those reported by Beckman but in excellent agreement with recent Hartree-Slater calculations of Scofield. The ratios and do not agree with either Beckman's experiment or Scofield's calculations.
