Abstract
It is shown that the anomalous exponent of a scalar advected by an extremely irregular turbulent field found by Gawedzki and Kupiainen [Phys. Rev. Lett. 21, 3834 (1995)] in a special limit can be derived also in a more general case with the velocity viscous scale kept finite. Keywords
