Abstract
Sensilla on the antennae of eight species of noctuid moth—Agrotis ipsilon, Graphania morosa, G. mutans, G. ustistriga, Leucania unica, Persectania atristiga, P. aversa, and Pseudaletia separata—were examined with the scanning electron microscope. At least six types of sensillum described by other authors were distinguishable within this material. However, separation of all the sensilla into distinct morphological types proved difficult, and a continuous spectrum of types is inferred and discussed. Keywords
