Abstract
The aquatic fungus, Blastocladiella. grows and fixes CO, more rapidly in the light than in the dark. At an organismal level of integration, the response to light involves the 400-500 millimicron range of the visible spectrum, a ca. 1.2 x increase in the generation time, and a concomitant 5-10 x increase in size over dark-grown plants. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
