Abstract
Reading speed and acceptance ratings were obtained as a function of type size, type style, line width and line spacing in 2 experiments with samples of older human adults. Significant differences were found for different styles and different sizes of type. Significant interactions were found between different line widths and spacing for different sizes of type of the same style. Implications of these findings for the design of printed materials for use by older adults are discussed. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
