Abstract
Conformation of various (1→3)-β-d-glucans in solid state was examined by 13C cross polarization/magic angle spinning NMR spectroscopy. It was found that high molecular-weight glucans adopt mainly helix form, whereas low molecular weight ones take considerable proportion of random-coil form in addition to the helix in solid. This publication has 14 references indexed in Scilit:
