Bullous Dermatosis Associated with Latent Diabetes

Abstract
A bullous dermatosis leaving brownish pigmented scar formation could be observed on the legs of a female patient suffering from latent diabetes. The immunofluorescence method failed to demonstrate specific immunoglobulin deposition of the skin. Histologically, subepidermal localization of the vesicles and diabetic angiopathy of dermic vessels could be seen. It is concluded that the bullous dermatosis of diabetics represents a special form of diabetic dermopathy.
