Abstract
The relative orientation of the major axes of double radio sources is investigated. It is found that sources less than 10° apart tend to lie parallel to each other. The effect is particularly strong for the unidentified sources and is apparently unrelated to the alleged association of radio sources with Arp's peculiar galaxies. It supports the suggestion of Brown that galaxies are orientated non-randomly on a scale of a few hundred megaparsecs.
