Abstract
We have developed a new numerical micromagnetic simulator based on the curling particle assembly model and the finite element method which describes the static magnetization process in soft magnetic films successfully, and which exhibits many details of that process. Compared to conventional numerical treatment of the magnetic structure in soft magnetic films, e.g., the Landau–Lifshits–Gilbert equation method or recently proposed Monte Carlo method, our approach has the following advantages: high calculation speed, arbitrary meshing size, and good agreement with experiment. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
