Abstract
A recent soluble model proposed to characterise a spin glass is re-examined with particular regard to its metastable state structure and dynamic relaxation. It is shown to lack features generally considered integral to a true spin glass. An alternative simple derivation of the statics is also presented, analogous to more conventional procedures and readily generalisable. Keywords
