Improving the Tunnel Diode Univibrator

Abstract
Experience has shown that nanosecond logic operations such as fan‐in, fan‐out, coincidence, and pulse discrimination can be performed with tunnel diode univibrators with a resulting economy and simplicity. A method of reducing or controlling the deadtime of the univibrator is presented with the result that the logic operations can be carried out on pulse pairs spaced well under 10 nsec.
