New, stable isomers of [C2H4O]+˙, and [C2H4O2]+˙, the radical cations [CH3COH]+˙ and [CH3OCOH]+˙

Abstract
The ions [CH3COH]+˙ and [CH3OCOH]+˙ have been characterised by their collisional activation mass spectra and their heats of formation were measured as 865 ± 20 and 661 ± 5 kJ mol–1respectively; [CH3COH]+˙ is the reacting Configuration for H˙ loss from [CH2 CHOH]+˙.
