QUASI-STATIC AERO-THERMO-ELASTIC ANALYSIS: ANALYTICAL DEVELOPMENT AND COMPUTATIONAL PROCEDURE

Abstract
A collocation formulation is used as the basis for a unified approach to the various quasi static aero-thermo-elastic problems. These problems include rigid and flexible load distributions, divergence, estimation of rigid and flexible static and dynamic stability derivatives, and the correction of wind tunnel data measured on flexible models. The formulation utilizes structural, thermal, and aerodynamic influence coefficients. The Aerospace IBM 7090 Computer Program No. LD003A provides the solution to the above problems. Tgram capacity is fifty collocation control points and ten values of dynamic pressure.
