X-Ray Edge Problem with Finite Hole Mass

Abstract
The methods used by Schotte and Schotte to study Mahan's x-ray edge problem are extended to the case of finite hole mass. The singular behavior is expected to continue down to a distance above the absoprtion edge for attractive electron-hole interactions.
