Abstract
The legumes studied were Phaseolus vulgaris, Vicia faba, Dolichos lablab, Vigna sesquipedalis, Glycine max, Arachis hypogaea, Canavalia gladiata, Pisum sativum, Trifolium repens and T. pratense. Content of the compound in these species ranged from 0.449 .mu.mol/10 g fresh wt (Phaseolus vulgaris) to 0.055 .mu.mol/10 g fresh wt (T. pratense).
