Abstract
A 55-year-old man developed three parathyroid adenomas 11 years after the removal of an equal number of parathyroid adenomas. He had received thiazides for nine years prior to removal of the second set of adenomas. Although the evidence is only circumstantial, it is suggested that prolonged thiazide administration may have induced the recurrence of the adenomas. Keywords
