Abstract
Photoneutron cross sections were measured for iron and bismuth for photon energies up to 15 keV above threshold by the neutron time-of-flight technique. A number of nuclear levels were observed. Nuclear properties which can be derived from the data include ground-state gamma-ray transition widths, gamma-ray strength functions, and average level spacings. Keywords
