Abstract
The concentration of 3-hydroxykynurenine in freshly laid eggs of Bombyx mori rises to a maximum in the 1st 9-12 hours and then decreases. 3-Hydroxykynurenine is therefore synthesised in the eggs and used for ommochrome synthesis. Keywords
