Abstract
Leucocyte ascorbic acid levels have been found to be lower in patients with Crohn’s disease than in normal controls. This appears to be due to the disease rather than the effect of drug or operative treatment. Prescribing supplementary ascorbic acid is an appropriate step in correcting this deficiency. Keywords
