Abstract
A method is described for the separation and characterisation of 24 steroid estrogens. The method is based on thin-layer chromatography of the various estrogens and of their derivatives (such as nitroso-complex, reduction product with potassium borohydride and hydrazone with Girard''s reagent T) on Silica Gel G in different solvent systems. Data are presented on the assessment of the reproducibility of the method. Keywords
