Abstract
The four-dimensional body-centered hypercubic lattice has a point symmetry group which is three times as large as that of the simple hypercubic lattice. This enlarged symmetry is implemented by introducing an action consisting of a sum over triangular plaquettes. Here, the theory is presented and some of its properties are described. Keywords
