Abstract
The isothermal compressibility of CCIF3 has been determined by a combination of turbidity and light scattering intensity measurements in the vicinity of the critical point and along the critical isochore to be magnified image for the temperature range 3 · 10−4 ≤ (Tc · Tc)/Tc ≤ 5.5 · 10−2. The critical exponent of the compressibility agrees within the error limits with the results obtained on other one‐component systems, binary fluid mixtures and the three‐dimensional Ising model. This publication has 15 references indexed in Scilit:
