Abstract
Laser induced fluorescence of HCCO (DCCO) radical have been obtained in the reaction of O(3P)+C2H2(C2D2) for the first time (X 2A’–2A‘). The laser excitation spectra have been obtained over the wavelength region from 310 to 370 nm. The collision‐free lifetimes for HCCO and DCCO are 0.14 and 3.8 μs, respectively. From the excitation and dispersed fluorescence spectra, some vibrational energies have been obtained in cm1 unit: 1762 (1727), 150–140 (n.a.), and 2334 (1901) for the ground state HCCO (DCCO), and 1183 (1167), 866 (607), and 2862 (2075) for the excited state HCCO (DCCO). The band origin ν00 is 28 296.7 cm1.
