Abstract
Representatives of the genera Neospirifer Frederiks and Trigonotreta Koenig are described from the Permian sequences of the Perth, Carnarvon, Canning and Bonaparte Gulf Basins of Western Australia. New or revised taxa are Neospirifer hardmani (Foord), Neospirifer foordi sp. nov., Neospirifer plicatus sp. nov., Neospirifer postplicatus sp. nov., Neospirifer amplus sp. nov., Neospirifer grandis sp. nov., Trigonotreta lyonsensis sp. nov., Trigonotreta neoaustralis sp. nov., Trigonotreta dickinsi sp. nov. and Trigonotreta lightjacki sp. nov. Additional material belonging to Neospirifer is briefly described and a lectotype is designated for Neospirifer timorensis (Martin) from Timor.Keywords
