Abstract
The dog has very low blood catalase levels, ranging from immeasurably low to a level which in other species [mouse, rat, guinea pig, rabbit, man] would be considered hypocatalasemic. However, the dog and the duck, which was reported to be acatalasemic, have appreciable catalase activity in the liver, kidney, lung, and heart, i.e., they are not acatalatic. This publication has 4 references indexed in Scilit:
