Giant dipole resonance at very high spin

Abstract
The giant dipole resonance in a deformed rotating nucleus is studied within the framework of linear response theory. A fine structure possessing three peaks is found. For the case of the splitting is discussed as a function of the angular momentum. The influence of the Coriolis force is investigated.
