Abstract
Successful surgical treatment by extirpation of remote metastases is extremely rare. A patient was admitted in whom multiple metastases to the lung occurred 8 years after extirpation of a papillary meningioma of the posterior fossa. The meningioma did not recur at the original site. The pulmonary metastases were surgically removed. The histological and electron microscopic findings of this case are presented. Keywords
