Abstract
Several observations on reproductive modes and advertisement calls in different populations of frogs of the genus Adenomera were made in Bolivia and Paraguay. Two populations were more thoroughly studied. In one of them, frogs reproduced in the water‐independent way that is already known in the genus. In the other population they reproduced in the same way as members of the Leptodactylus fuscus group. An integrated approach using different sets of data leads to the conclusion that three species occur in Bolivia, A. andreae, A. bokermanni, and A. hylaedactyla.
