Abstract
Basic models for speed-governing systems and turbines in power system stability studies are presented. These models provide adequate representation for hydro, fossil-fired, and pressurized water reactor nuclear units in most stability analyses. Models for boiling water reactor nuclear units are to be presented at a later date. Typical parameters are given. Keywords
