Abstract
Magnetic moment measurements on Pd1−xGdx alloys for 0.002≤x≤0.05, 1.5≤T≤4.2 K, and 0≤B0≤150 kG are reported. The saturation moment per Gd atom is independent of Gd concentration and is equal to that of Gd3+ within experimental error. An empirical formula is given which fits the magnetic isotherms to better than 1% over the entire field range. This publication has 7 references indexed in Scilit:
