Abstract
Based on performance on a newly developed biographical personality assessment test and on psychopharmacological and psychiatric observations, character trends of heroin addicts and underlying psychodynamic processes were observed and described. Differences in the emotional structure of the heroin addict, the chronic alcoholic, and the LSD user were also noted. Keywords
