Abstract
A study of embryological development in grasshopper eggs was made as a part of a general study of the effect of weather on the seasonal development of grasshoppers. The variation in the stage of development in which eggs of Melanoplus bivittatus (Say), Melanoplus mexicanus mexicanus (Sauss.), and Camnula pellucida (Scud.) entered the winters of 1941 to 1947 in different areas of the Prairie Region of Canada is presented in the following paper.Keywords
