Abstract
A chopstick fragment as an orbital foreign body is very rare, and can escape routine roentgenographic examination. Two young children complained of a palpebral thickening. An orbital roentgenogram failed to demonstrate the wooden chopstick fragments which were later removed at orbital exploration. Therefore, when a post-traumatic palpebral infiltrate is seen in Oriental children, the possibility of fragments of chopstick in the orbit should be considered. Keywords
