Abstract
Measurements have been made of the magnetic properties of rare earth-transition metal compounds having the Fe3C structure. The results obtained using a pulsed field magnetometer are appreciably different from those observed previously in static fields by other workers. It has proved difficult to decide from these results what type of magnetic order is present in several of the compounds. It is clear however that in some cases the observed magnetization is time dependent. Keywords
