Radiationless Recombination in Phosphors

Abstract
An Auger-type process is proposed for a possible means of nonradiative annihilation of free holes at electron traps in phosphors. A rough calculation is made of the cross section for the process, and some of the consequences are considered qualitatively.Keywords
