Abstract
Two cases [human] of primary amyloidosis involving the orbit and lid, respectively, are described. Immunoperoxidase staining of the associated infiltrate of lymphocytes and plasma cells showed a clear preponderance of cells carrying .lambda. L chains in 1 case and .kappa. in the other. The predominant H chains were IgA and IgG, respectively. Apparently, these cases are burnt out local plasmacytomas. This publication has 24 references indexed in Scilit:
