Simulation of the steady‐state behavior of a multicomponent, multifeed reboiled‐absorber

Abstract
The simulation of the steady state behavior of a multi‐component, multifeed reboiled‐absorber has been studied using the θ method of obtaining convergence.Methods of representing equilibrium and enthalpy data for the digital computer are discussed. Techniques for forcing convergence by controlling temperature changes, and changes in θ are presented.The computer results are compared with the operation of a commercial column.
