Cryptorchidism in Adults

Abstract
Semicastration in cryptorchidism of adults is the preferred therapy. A positive effect on fertility is usually to be expected. An aggravation did not occur in any case. In cases of cryptorchidism or if only 1 testis is present and orchidopexy is performed, there should be a periodic check-up of the patients to discern the development of a testicular tumor.
