Abstract
Many useful articles have been written describing the use of a variety of dressing materials and bandaging techniques for the treatment of leg ulcers. This article concentrates on the wider issues of understanding the complexities which surround the management of patients with leg ulcers with a view to improving the education of both nurses and patients.
