Abstract
Tomato fruits, grown under glass in inert media, and supplied with nutrient solutions containing high and low levels of N and P, varied in pH from 4.21 to 4.61. Fruits from plants receiving low levels of both nutrients consistently had low pH values. Those from plants fed high levels of P or N had high pH whenever the level of the other element was not limiting. Keywords
