Abstract
The author performs a covariant calculation of the finite-temperature stress-energy-momentum matrix elements for the conformally coupled, massive scalar field in two flat, spatially compact, multiply connected spaces, R1(X)G2 and R1(X)B1, the latter being non-orientable. The interrelationship of the resulting elements is investigated from a thermodynamic viewpoint, and this interrelation is found to be independent of the conformal coupling chosen. Also the spin-1 field in the same spaces is considered and thermodynamics in Robertson-Walker spacetimes with underlying manifolds R1(X)G2 and R1(X)B1 are discussed. Keywords
