Abstract
Small amounts of nitrite slowly accumulate in cod fillets that are dipped in a solution of hydroxylamine. Cultures of Pseudomonas isolated from fish, as well as 2 spp. of Proteus and one sp. of Micro-bacterium, can convert hydroxylamine to nitrite when grown in a nutrient broth. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
