Abstract
SUMMARY: A pair of Little Sparrowhawks was under close study throughout one breeding period. The habitat, territory, territorial behaviour, courtship, and nest building are described. The share in incubation (31–32 days) by both sexes and brooding of the chick is illustrated. Four developmental stages of the young nestling are given (nestling period 25–26 days). Food, feeding and food requirements are estimated, and the call notes described. Keywords
