Abstract
EDITOR—A partner is “one who shares equally with another,” according to the New Collins dictionary. To have a patient-partner is a bit of an oxymoron and perhaps a case of political correctness gone too far.1 My feeling is that this is not what doctors or most patients wish in general practice.
