Abstract
The facilitation of carbon monoxide flux through a thin layer of hemoglobin solution is increased in the presence of oxygen. This is consistent with the hypothesis that the facilitation results from diffusion of carbon monoxide—hemoglobin as well as carbon monoxide, but that the overall process is partially limited by the reaction rates of carbon monoxide and hemoglobin.This publication has 7 references indexed in Scilit:
