Abstract
The photoacoustic signal magnitude in the condensed phase with a piezoelectric transducer and a pulsed laser is theoretically calculated for various quantum yield of the triplet formation (φisc) and decay rate constants from the triplet state. The results show that the φisc value and the triplet lifetime can be determined from the PA signal intensity. Keywords
