Abstract
A collagen film of bovine origin, was applied to 7 patients following dermabrasion treatment for 4 different skin diseases: post-acne scars, rhinophyma, scarring following neurotic excoriations and Darier''s disease. The film was easily removed 4 days postoperatively. The collagen film provided excellent hemostasis. Crust formation was negligible. Sterility was maintained, fluid loss reduced and a protective covering was provided. No antigenic reactions were noted. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
