Electrical properties of coplanar transmission lines on lossless and lossy substrates

Abstract

The characteristic impedance and the propagation constant of coplanar transmission lines on lossless and lossy substrates are given and compared with computed values within the frequency region 0–8 GHz. Al₂O₃ and n-Si substrates are used.
