Abstract
In the quark model, the leading baryon trajectory is resolved into infinitely many degenerate trajectories. An exchange-degeneracy pattern of periodicity is obtained. At finite physical values of the spin, only a finite number (increasing with the spin) of these infinitely many trajectories support particles. A general hadronic mass formula is proposed.
