Abstract
A RESEARCH program was conducted throughout the year 1945 to obtain more information concerning the causes and prevention of clouding of the corneal epithelium by solutions used with contact lenses. To eliminate varying personal equations, I used my own eyes exclusively and employed the same pair of contact lenses in all experiments.
